Signature Healthcare of Orange Park

wth is going on

I have a friend that has been in signature of orange park since February. Needless to say, they went o. Lock down I. March. Very little has been done to make this lock down easier on residents. Then in late June members of the staff started testing positive for Covid. By mid July 35 staff members had tested positive and also infected an equal number of residents. Is this poor training or just they plain don’t give a damn? The residents that became positive were removed from their already isolated rooms and placed in the Covid wing. They were only allowed to take what they were wearing and cell phone or tablet. All other belongings were bagged up and put in an outside storage. My family member has been in the Covid wing for nearly a month. Still has not gotten a shower. This is not right

Wonderful care wonderful staff. Was there for rehab after knee replacement. Can't thank Signature enough for the great care and getting me moving again! God Bless!!

The whole Signature Healthcare community is definitely outstanding. They had a person who come in and sing, as well as other social activities. They have a church group that comes in on Sundays. She doesn’t participate in the activities that much as she is 94. If I have a question, I know who to go to and they give me an answer immediately without my having to wait. The nurses are always there if she needs them. As of now, we have yet to find a downside. If we needed to discuss something with the financial people, their doors are open. You can sit down and talk to them. People who work there are extremely friendly and always smiling. They have an excellent rehab facility that my mother was in. The people are outstanding and excellent in taking care of her and so far, we haven’t had any problems.. They’re very professional in the cleaning as the staff clean the floors daily. The outside is always is well-groomed and it’s really nice. They have a patio area that is kept really nice, and the grass is cut every week or every other week. I just highly recommend it to anyone as it’s been a really nice place to go to.
