"Lakes Crossing Senior Care was a very welcoming place with really nice surroundings. The apartments were nice. The staff during the tour was very informative in describing what they provided as far as levels of care. The apartments were spacious and accommodating. The whole property looked very well maintained. The dining area was really nice."

"Magnolia Manor of St. Marys was very nice and I'm taking my friend tomorrow to let them look at it. It was very outstanding, it seems to have just about everything. I met a couple of the staff and they're very congenial and helpful. The rooms were larger and laid out nicer than where my friend is now. They were having activity programs for the residents while we were there, which my friend's present facility does not do."

"My aunt is at Life Care Center of Hilliard occupying a single room. They have art projects, entertainment coming in, and people coming in to do some projects with the residents. The staff seems pretty friendly, and they seem to take good care of their residents. The facility is nice, and they have a patio where the residents can sit outside."

"The cost was too high at Dayspring Senior Living. The manager and the person who handles the billing were knowledgeable and nice. It's a sad atmosphere. There were a lot of people in the lobby and sitting out front. They're generations ahead of me, and I'm only 67. The people there looked like they were in their 80s. The atmosphere was very slow moving and not positive."

"Coastal Senior Living was good and was in the process of changing directors when we went up there. The staff was fine. There were not many amenities, and it's rather small, but friendly. They had private rooms with shared baths, and private rooms with a bath. My mother thought everybody was nice and fine."

"The Canopy at Duval Station was very nice and very clean. It was brand new and they had single rooms. They had a la carte items that you could get done, like if you needed help with a shower, if you needed help with a bath, if you wanted to go to the salon, all of those things you had to pay extra for. The food was good and the facility was nice. The lady that took care of us during our tour was awesome. They had doctors' facilities and a pharmacy on site. They had a rec room, a weight room, and an outside patio area. They would bring in entertainment. They actually had field trips they could sign up for."

"We have a social worker ( Mrs. A. McDowell) that is a Gods Blessing. She has helped me get help for my husband, he had a stroke in 2006. It is hard for me to take of him and help my self. I have a back and shoulder problems. She has got us help from all available sources. Thank You, Mrs McDowell for beening our angel. "

"Circle of Hope is a very nice facility. I stayed just a few blocks from this location while I was in Jacksonville last summer. They had a very nice team of staff members, that were more than willing to do anything to help my client out whenever she needed anything. The only thing that wasn't so good about the facility was the area that it was located in. Although it was convenient and outside of downtown Jacksonville, the elderly had to be accompanied outside because it isn't in the best of neighborhoods. Otherwise, the facility was well-taken care of and looked very clean on the inside. My client had no complaints whatsoever, which is the important part. "

"My mother has been a resident of Savannah Grand since 2007. She has experienced the most superb, attentive and thoroughly professional care in every sense of the word "caring". Both she and I have truly considered this her home since the day she moved in.
