Pure Restoration Assisted Living of Crystal River

My mother has moved into Pure Restoration Assisted Living of Crystal River. The thing that I like best is that it is a small home environment. There are only 12 people there, so they get very close care and they're very close as a community. The location is great. It's right here in Crystal River. It's easy to get to other places so I can take my mom to lunch or shopping. The staff is amazing. They have been very helpful in the transition and we're just very content with the decision we made. They are dedicated to the people they serve. They're constantly cleaning and taking care of the residents and the rooms. They allow for decorations and it's just overall a home-feeling environment. They keep coloring and activity books out all the time with an assortment of crayons, colored pencils, and watercolor paints. They have books available. In the communal areas, they have two separate rooms with two separate TVs, so if you don't like what's on one side, you can always go to the other. They have a separate living room that doesn't have a TV that you can visit. I am getting the space and care that I expect to get. The layout was great for my mother to have a dresser, a shelf stand, a chair, and a bed. There is plenty of room she shares with a roommate, but the roommate also has plenty of room and the communal areas are a nice size as well, so several people can be in the community areas at the same time.

My aunt currently lives at Tender Loving Hospitality. The facilities are clean and well kept. The staff are caring, and very good at their jobs. They treat the residents like family. There are plenty of things available there for the residents to do, like games, tv, and even shopping trips and things of that nature. It's never easy putting a family member into an assisted living facility, but when the facility staff treat your family like their own families it makes it easier.
