My mother was at United Medical Nursing; it was nice, and I chose it again. The facility is real clean; the other nursing home she was in when you go in the smell just knocked you down, this one had no smell. They clean her up and have her dressed when I wanted to take her out, and they call me real quick as soon as something happens.

This is a small hospital that also has a separate nursing home in it. The nursing home appears to be very organized"”and the care is good. Residents, most of whom are seniors, are nearly all satisfied with the care here. There is a day area and a recreational director who arranges for a range of activities that fit residents' abilities. The staff makes an effort to get residents out of their rooms as much as possible. They are also very friendly and good at helping coordinate care. They seem to work well together as a team"”and the take the time to get to know both the residents and the family members. The food is better than most nursing home fare. The rooms are nicely decorated"”clean and nicely painted. There are two residents to a room"”with a TV and dresser; the rooms are more pleasant than most.
