This faculty is top notch!! My mother in law has been going to the senior day program for a couple years now and the staff have been wonderful with her. She suffers from dementia and has done well here! Candace and Jennifer and Valerie are warm, friendly and compassionate!! I feel my mother in law is safe and in good hands! They offer me suggestions and always keep me informed of her day. They offer many fun activities , meals and my mother in law really enjoys the salsa dancing! Great place and great staff!!!

Clients enjoy a continental breakfast, two choices for their hot nutritious lunch, and snacks every day. We also accommodate special diets. We offer transportation to clients coming from West Hartford, Hartford and Bloomfield. The Adult Day Health Care Center at Hebrew Senior Care is one of the first Adult Day Programs in the State of Connecticut so you can feel confident that your loved one is safe, engaged and cared for. Clients enjoy daily exercise classes, field trips, social events, art, music and dance-movement therapy, and simply sitting outside enjoying the beauty of the gardens from the patio. Our Adult Day Health Care Center is a medical-model offering a variety of health services including nursing assessments, assistance with medications, rehabilitation therapies, nutritional counseling, and assistance with showering and bathing. Care plans are developed to meet the individualized needs of the clients who are attending. Our nurse ensures that any medical issues impacting our clients are communicated to families immediately. Whether you need part-time help for caregiver respite or full time services to ensure your loved one isn't isolated, our Adult Day Health Care Center gives families peace of mind that their loved ones are not isolated, but safely engaged in meaningful, fun activities with their friends.

The senior day care is absolutely wonderful. They have a accommodated my mom for the past 3.5 years. The staff is caring and loving. The have guided my family and I through this tough transition for my mother diagnosis of dementia.

- Special Comment: The Executive Director of our Adult Day Health Care Center is an LPN and a Certified Dementia Care Practitioner. In addition, there is a full-time RN on staff. Our specialty is engaging clients with cognitive impairment. We are so very proud to share that NONE of our clients were EXPOSED to COVID-19 while in our care. Our Adult Day Health Care Center is a training site for college students who are pursuing a career in health care making for wonderful intergenerational programming and conversations.
