"This Rehability center is the worsted rehab to go to!! They are short staffed and the staff they have are not very nice to their patients. The patients do not get good care, always waiting to be seen for hours!! The staff attendants are rude and nasty to their patients. If you need something done you would be waiting for hours for someone to attend to you!! So if I was you STAY AWAY!!! Thanks D"

"Seabury Meadows is a top-notch Memory Care facility. A geriatric physician or nurse practitioner is on site weekly so it's a 1-stop shop for health care. The staff is outstanding. The facility is pleasant. There are constant activities. It is laid out in a four-wing X with 13 rooms per wing and a large common area for activities. Each wing as separate a separate dining area and television/sitting area. There is a fenced large courtyard so residents are able to go outside. As part of a CCRC, there is also skilled nursing across the driveway so hospital rehab is fully integrated. My mother made use of that twice and the skilled nursing part of the facility is equally outstanding. I would recommend the facility to anyone without hesitation."

"My friend sends his wife to the Hebrew Senior Care Senior Day Center about 4 times a week. She has a blast and feels needed. While she is at the center, her husband is able to work and feel a sense of peace knowing his wife is safe and enjoying herself."

"This nursing home is very well staffed and also very clean compared to other nursing homes in the area. They have quite a few Alzheimer's/Dementia patients there and they have a unit that is locked 24 hours for some of these patients who are at risk of wandering. My Dad has been there for 6 months and has been doing extremely well, under the circumstances of his illness. Their Rehab//Physical Therapy unit is fantastic and they have helped my Dad to be able to walk with a walker instead of being in his wheelchair. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone thinking of transitioning their loved one. "

"My mom is in rehab at St Mary Home. The facility is very clean. The people are friendly. If my mom needs assistance, they are always there, so I have no complaints. My mom is in a private room that's right next to another room, but they share the same bathroom. They have a room where they play music, and somebody plays the piano. My mother has physical therapy every day. She has a walker, but she's beginning to walk better. My mom loves the meals. She has insurance, so it was covered."

"I was able to visit Hughes Health & Rehabilitation. There were a couple of reasons why I didn’t want to place my husband there. One was that there wasn't a separate parking lot, so you had to park on the street. I do have a handicapped parking permit tag to be able to park wherever I wanted, so I had to use one of the three spots on the side of the front lawn for handicapped people. I would improve the parking. The facility was a very old building. Part of the patio was attached to this huge house, like a mansion. Unfortunately, I found this to be a very old a facility; although it seemed adequate, and I didn’t think my husband would like it there. It was just kind of dreary and dark, and the atmosphere was quite depressing to me. I did see the rooms, but only from the doorway. I would not feel comfortable driving there and being there, especially at night. I was uncomfortable. I would like to have brought my husband to this facility, not only for rehab but also for long-term care, but I don’t think he would be comfortable. The dining area was located off one of the corridors with nice, big, round tables. It was bright, and the food was attached to a kitchen for that particular wing or section of the rehab facility. I could see that they had celebrated holidays, and people are allowed to visit anytime. "

"Windsor Health Care & Rehab was a very good place. The building was clean, and the food was good. The arts and crafts and activities for the patients were very good. They had decorations for the holidays. The staff who gave me the tour was very pleasant. I was introduced to all of the staff. The rooms were clean. They had a very good physical therapy department. I had seen the cafeteria and it was very clean. All the patients seemed to be very happy and comfortable."

Even after visiting, it’s hard to evaluate the care that each place provides. "My father was in this nursing home after he had a stroke. They took very good care of his diabetic needs and emotional needs. The nurses were very nice and helpful every time I visited. He was never in the same place for long because they had adequate lifts to handle tall wide people. They bathed him often even though it wasn't an easy feat due to his size. Because of the way he was taken care of, he had very good report with the staff. Next to the facility are horse stables, and my father's room had a view of their horse paddocks only 10 feet away. They also have a garden out back with rose bushes and a patio with furniture for residents and visitors to sit on. There are no fences around the property to keep residents in or people out, but it lends a sense of hominess rather than being in a prison. The facility also is in touch with some of the local churches that provide bussing for residents to go to their churches, even if they have a physical difficulty like needing a wheel chair to get around. Also the people from the church would visit residents throughout the week. When my father passed away at the facility, the residents were helpful in getting my father's belongings together in a timely manner so we could figure out what to bury him in. I am very grateful that he was at such a caring facility. I have only good memories of my father and I there. "
