I toured Westlake Care Community in person, talked to the manager, and she gave me a tour, real nice and everything. She said she would just call me back, and she never did, it's been three weeks already. It was nice. It was very, very nice and clean. She showed me all the rooms. Everything and everything was good. They had private rooms, but they said that cost more. She showed me a shared room. They have a rehab, where you could exercise and stuff like that.

My family member died at this facility, I reported the death to the Colorado Department Of Health, the facility did not. My relative residented at the facility for 3 plus years, the facility had cleaned out my relative's room and placed all belongings in trash bags in the basement. a new resident was in my relative's room within hours of the death. Terrible way to treat someone and family. Many items of my relative was missing. Be aware and review this facility's record, personally with the Department of Health, watch how residents are treated, and observe the staffing. Make sure that you are speaking with a physician and not a PA. Note to do this review for public awareness, you have to rate the facility, one star, facility does not deserve any rating.

We were extremely satisfied with Westlake before even though it was not as nice as the other facilities. We thought mom-in-law received great care there. Her rehabilitation experience was very good, they worked with us and they were very nice. It was old and they were closed this time for renovation so we had to put mom in law in another place.

Facility is older but they are in the process of renovating some of the facility. Residents seem to like the care that they receive. Most of the CNA's are pretty good and seem to care about their patients. Activities are somewhat redundant but okay. Overall this facility is a good place. May not have the looks but they have the hear!

Westlake Care Community was previously Glen Ayr Health. Not the fanciest facility, but extremely caring and compassionate in the care of my mother - and that's what really counts!
