Brookside Inn is a model for what nursing homes and rehab facilities should be like. Such genuine care for their elders and residents. Before the pandemic they had Vaudeville performances every month to bring joy and music to the residents. Would highly recommend this center for anyone looking for care.

We lucked out! My sister (Downs Syndrome) w/ advanced Alzheimer’s needed a new living situation quickly and Brookside was suggested to us by Arapahoe county human services. She began her stay there in September 2021. They have been nothing but helpful and thorough in the care of my sister. They seem ahead of the curve ball on so many changes my sister is gone through due to their vast experience with aging conditions. I feel blessed to know she’s in good hands.

My mom fell at home and broke her hip... She went to Brookside Inn nursing and rehab after the hospital. The care my mom got was so wonderful and she is now back home and walking again at 90??????The staff at BSI.

The main thing why we chose Brookside Inn is because they have a memory care unit, and they accepted Medicaid. The staff is fantastic and they have excellent food. The rooms are nice. They are nicely decorated and comfortable. Their activities are good. They have music, arts, and bingo. They have lots of things for them to do.

I was very well cared for at Brookside Inn. It was like I was over cared. I think I had one of the best doctors a person can have. The rooms were exceptionally small and that was sad. It was very hard on the residents because the rooms were so small. They really truthfully needed knockdown some walls and re-space, that's what they needed to do with their rooms. They need to make the rooms more homier for people. If they were larger, the people would be more comfortable.

The Brookside Inn Facility seemed very friendly as well as kind, every one smiled at you as you walked by them. The medical service was better than most, the CNA's and Nurses seemed to know what they were doing taking care of the residence. The few residents that I talked to were happy with the service they provided, they said the people were kind and helped with everything. The food service was a little scary, it looked as though there was no order for anything and that the place was serving above the minimum requirement of food quality. The rooms were for 2 people and were separated by a curtain, the residents of each room shared a closet, and a bathroom together. The Laundry personal would get the clothes to the residents with in a few days, but the clothes would get mixed up or go into the lost and found, because the residents names were not written on their clothing items.

There are members from our church that live there and are very well taken care of in that facility.

A friend became a resident within the past two years, having to give up his home and possessions due to health issues. Within a short amount of time, he had made numerous new friends, received the daily care to begin rebuilding his health, and was able to resume much of his normal previous lifestyle. He seemed to do very well in this facility.
