Friendship House at the Home

Friendship House at the Home seems like a friendly group and the location is convenient to hospitals and doctors' offices. The tour I had was really brief because we got there late for the appointment and the tour guide kind of had to leave. The worst thing was it's one shared bathroom. The rooms don't have their own bathrooms, at least on the level that we saw. That was kind of a dealbreaker there. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I only toured rooms on the garden level, so I can't say what the upper rooms are because it's two or three stories. They have an elevator, which is good. The room I saw was kind of sublevel, so it was concrete. It was a double room, so it was spacious, but not well lit. It was a really quiet time. There were just a few people around and we sat for a little bit in the activity room and talked with a few of the other residents, but it was pretty mellow. We were just there right before they were starting an activity cycle. It's kind of a smaller facility.
