When we first moved my mom in we loved Renew. It was an amazing, loving place with caregivers who knew the residents well. Then it was purchased by Gardens Care and everything changed drastically for the worse. My mom’s prescription meds were left on her table and she had feces all over her bathroom. One by one, the previous staff left and were replaced by people who seemed unhappy and overworked. The engaging activities they used to have were eliminated. When we moved my mom, the first thing she said at her new home was “wow there’s a lot of smiling here.” Sad that she noticed such a difference!

My father-in-law will be moving into the Memory Care next year. We liked it because it has a low resident population, it was just a single level, and they specialize only in memory care. The staff members are all amazing. Their facilities include two courtyards, a game room, a chapel, and two bar seating areas.

My 96 year old mother was at the facility for the last few months of her life. I was there a lit to visit and was able to observe the care or not only my mother got that other patients as well. The staff is very caring and very patient. I felt that my mother was taken very good care of and the communication was excellent between myself and everyone at the facility. I would highly recommend Renew to anyone that has a loved one with a memory care problem. They had activities every day and overall, a very impressive community.
