I've just moved my mom into a place called the Masonic Home of California. I have chosen them just for the quality of the place. They also have a program for widows of Masons that made it affordable. My mom has a little studio (without a kitchen) and a private bathroom. And she is on the memory care floor where they have a living area and kitchen. There are all kinds of activities and programs there. I've tried their food and it's good. My mom has been there for a little over a week, and so far, everybody's been very kind. It's very clean. She's in a brand new building, so she's the first person to reside in that apartment. It's a very well-maintained community. It's beautiful.
