I had a loved one in this facility and had to quickly find a new place. Everything they said they did, was a lie. We were asked to provide our loved ones food which we were told there were 3 hot meals per day. There was one older female caregiver that did nothing for the residents and they laid in bed all day long. We saw they did not get their hair washed or combed. There was no activities or stimulation, food was left out all night and molded. Residents had to take care of themselves and were often sick. One woman told my husband they feed them noodles and bologna. This was the worst facility. My loved one is doing so much better now that she is in another facility that cares about the elderly They should be shut down because of the neglect. Staff do not have proper credentials or certification They told me they did this and that - all lies Do Not put your loved ones there.

My mom has been at Santa Fe Home Care for almost three months. We found that board and care was more suitable for her as opposed to senior residence type facilities. It is more affordable too. It has a very homey atmosphere, and the people there are very friendly, as well as the other residents. Everybody just functions like one big happy family. One thing that is most impressive to me, being a nurse, is that it is clean and it doesn't have an odor. The staff is excellent. They're very attentive, very thorough and thoughtful. They assist all of the residents. They even plan extracurricular types of activities for them. They have sing-a-long and things like that. Their activities are very senior friendly. On top of that, they have church once a week. We go there about every other day, and they're just extremely friendly. They also serve good food. One thing too that they thought of that I was glad to see is that the heaviest meal is not in the evening; it is at lunch time. Therefore, the residents get a light dinner in the evening to go to sleep, and then they have snacks during the course of the day.
