Abbey Road Villa was a place for very cost-conscious residents. I would go there if I had to, but it wasn't anything I would choose. It was more affordable. Everything was clean. They did well with what they had. The place was depressing. They had long hallways, so there was not a lot of light. The rooms were basic. I didn't observe too many activities.

The staff of Abbey Road Villa was OK. The person in charge was very gracious and very informative. Their nursing staff, however, didn't seem very welcoming and warm at all. The facility was clean. It looked nice, not fabulous or fantastic, but it was OK. The grounds were decent, again, not fabulous. The parking was so-so. The rooms were nice and clean. My mom would have to share a room. The room was a good size. The room they showed me was empty; there was no furniture in it. It seemed all right, though. There is one thing that I can say that is kind of a negative. Their brochure showed these people sitting in their dining area enjoying each other's company and looking happy, but when you walk through their dining area, everyone is pretty out of it. They're slumped over the table, drooling. These people weren't happy and enjoying each other's company.

My mother-in-law stayed at Abbey Road Villa. The place was clean and there was no foul smell. The staff were good-hearted and knowledgeable. I tried the food and it was delicious. One time, I went at night and there were only two personnel, so I wish there were more personnel at night.
