"I like Ivy Park at Murrieta because it is newer than the other place. It's only been there for like three years now. I like their vaulted ceilings. The dining room was really big. The community was more updated. There was a little walking path. And even though the room was a single, I liked it. It was nice. However, they only had a microwave in the room. The staff who gave the tour was great. She was nice. They have a big patio outside. It looked decent."

"The community of Wildomar is very nice. Wildomar Senior Assisted Living is clean, smells great, and looks great. So far, the people there are very cooperative in helping me figure out how to make this work. It's beautiful. The room is beautiful. Their apartment was nice, and the bathroom is huge. It is great for wheelchairs, and it has lots of storage. It is really nice. I know they have an activity room, and they play games. They have church services and a salon. They have a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. There are places that family can come and do some barbecue. It's really nice. I'm still working on trying to get my dad in there, but from what I have seen so far, it seems to be doing fairly good. The people there seem happy. "

"My mother is a Brookdale resident in another part of the state, but I am looking at relocating her to be closer to family. Brookdale, in my experience, is a high-quality organization. The staff is very compassionate, the food is quite good (surprisingly good, in fact). From a caregiver's perspective, I am especially comforted and impressed by the personal touch so evident in Brookdale staff. People seem genuinely happy in their surroundings, both residents and caregivers. I would not hesitate to recommend Brookdale to those dealing with the hard circumstances of aging parents. "

"The location of Maple Guest Home was perfect. The facility was excellent. I liked the patient-to-staff ratio. Everyone was very professional. I feel that they would be able to perfectly supply the need that we need for my mom. They have a place outside. Mom likes outside to where she can be nice and comfortable and get sunshine. I liked the whole atmosphere."

"We like Vineyard Ranch at Temecula very much. When I first walked to it, it was very warm and appealing. But when I walked into it a couple of times, there was a bad smell and it turned us off. The staff who accommodated us there was very friendly and helpful. I've observed some of the meals they have, it looked very good and the dining area was nice and clean. I haven't observed many activities though. But they have everything in terms of facilities and amenities. We were going for this community first but we saw the rooms, and my stepmother wanted a view from her room that's why we picked another place instead. This community looks very clean, there was just a smell."

"Brookdale Sunwest was clean and the staff seemed very nice. They have a lot of activities and I think you get more for your money there. The apartment was also nice. They had a full kitchen and a balcony. I liked the fact that if you needed something from the store, they had somebody who would go to the store for you. They also have their kitchen open from 7 in the morning to 7 at night."

"It is a nice community. They have six cottages with 15 rooms in each cottage. The room is nice. My mom is in their memory care unit. The staff members seem good. It is working out fine. The dining area is nice. My mom likes the food. She said they feed her too much and that she has gained too much weight. They have an activity calendar, but my mom also has macular degeneration, so she can't read the calendar. She complains that they don't always tell her what is going on, and that she has missed some things that she would like to do. They play bingo, and they go on little field trips about once a week."

"My parents lived in assisted living at Air Force Village West, but when my father died, my mother just went right into the next phase. She has Alzheimer's. She has a private room and it's fine. Everything is good. The food is very good. For me, the best thing about this place is that my mom is familiar with this community because she has lived in their assisted living. "

"We visited Atria Park, and that would have been our first pic, but their price point outsized us. It’s a beautiful facility in a beautiful area. Everything was light and bright. Everybody was very caring. Their rooms were gorgeous. There was a balcony on the one we were considering for our aunt. It definitely would have been our choice if we could have afforded it. They even had a vineyard at front. Their activities were seasonal; if the residents wanted to go outside and pick grapes, they could. It was just very nice. "
