My mother has been getting really good care at Emerald Isle. However, I saw her once while she was eating and she didn't like the food. The staff has been really good. It's so expensive but I guess it is at par with the other facilities.

My mom lived at one of the Emerald Isle homes for 3 years. She passed away earlier this year, but I am so thankful that I had found this home for her. I cannot say enough about the care she received. The staff was fantastic and they always had plenty of food (compared to some of the other board and cares out there. The home was always clean, and the residents were well taken care of. I will always be grateful for what Emerald Isle did for me and my mom.

My mother who has dementia was at this facility for two weeks. On the first day she was there they lost her and she was gone for at least three hours that we know of. I visited my mom everyday. I walked in and seen my mom looked like someone had punched her in the face. The caregiver told me she had fallen at 3:00 am and that Chris there administrator was supposed to have called me. When I spoke to Chris she had not had a chance to call me. I took my mom straight to the hospital and they never even called me to ask if she was ok. Never apologized for any of their wrong doings!

My mother stayed at Emerald Isle Assisted Living for about three months. The place was beautiful, clean and well-kept. It only had six beds in total. She had a large private room but the bath was not private. The food was adequate. The caretakers were very good but they did not have a night person. They charged twelve dollars everytime the guy got up to help her go to the bathroom or opened the door when she came in from the emergency room at night. The only problem was the lack of night help.
