Angel's Haven II is very nice. It's small and very quiet. The residents were not that energetic, but they appeared to be well cared for.

Angel's Haven II was run by a woman, and she was very kind. The facility was clean and all. It seemed like that would be a good place. It's a group home. The woman had people there that would help with feeding and mobilizing people and things like that. She said they would take them to doctor's appointments and things, but that was it. The staff was good. I just didn't care for the decorations, but other than that, it seemed to be clean and all. It was very nice. The porch was nice. They had tables outside. It didn't have a lot of amenities. It was adequate; it was good. They said we could bring in our furniture, which would have made a huge difference because their furniture, I was not pleased with. And there wasn't a private room available at the time. She has a private room, but it was being rented out already, and so it was a shared room situation. I didn't like it. It was in a nice neighborhood and all, but not what you would call lovely. It was good, and the people there were very kind, and that is important.

My father has been a resident at this Alzheimer’s Care Facility for 6 years. He use to be in a much larger facility in Long Beach, but I found that he wasn’t being given the one on one attention that I wanted for him. At Angels Haven he receives this and more and the monthly cost is much less than I paid in Long Beach too. This facility is more like a home with activities geared to each individual, delicious home cooked meals, lots of attention and so much love. They’ve had the same staff all 6 years and they’re so wonderful and caring. I highly recommend this home for your loved ones with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
