Portofina Villa is a nice, gated community. The grounds are well kept and I feel safe walking my dog. It has washer and dryer connections which is what I was looking for. It also had a balcony. We are responsible for our own food and do our own cooking. They do have exercise activities and other entertainment for us. As a matter of fact, the Senior Olympics is coming up soon, which I also went to last year. The neighbors are fine and the staff is nice, too. Frankie is very accommodating. We have an answering service if they're not available. It's very comfortable here. We have a recreation room, we have people that come in to play music, and we have birthday celebrations every month. The only thing that we do not have is outing, and I would really like to have a group outing. There are movie nights here, but it's not the same thing as going out to go to the theater.
