Heavenly Manor Elderly Care

We went to Heavenly Manor, and we had some problems with them. My mother is in her 80s also, and she does not walk very well. The ones that we went to have very poor parking and access for someone to visit. They had no sidewalks -- only dirt and grass. We went around and talked to people. We waited for the woman to show up because she wasn’t there, and we waited about half an hour although they seemed like the right place to be. They had very nice common rooms, but they were a little dark; they weren’t light and cheery. It didn’t seem like some place my father would have been. They did not go into activities or amenities. I saw them sitting in chairs watching TV.

I liked Heavenly Manor Elderly Care, and I really liked the ladies. They've told me a lot, and they showed me around. The place is very clean, and they were really nice. They gave me a lot of information. The rooms are very good and clean. It didn't look old, and it looked normal. It would be suitable for anybody. They informed me very well of everything that they do, and there's always somebody there. Another thing I liked was that the lady told me I could go there any time I wanted and take care of my mom and be with her any time, and it was not a problem, and that's important because you actually get to see what they're doing to her and what she's doing.
