My mom was in Vista Del Sol Care Center after she was discharged from the hospital. When she left they did a couple of visits and managed her virtually. A nurse came to check on her a couple of times. When she was in the center the staff gave updates virtually and by phone. The staff was very compassionate, they were very good, very communicative, and they would take the time to call me every day and give me updates. I was very happy with them. My mom was in a room with another patient with the same situation as hers. I thought the food was OK, but my mom is very picky. The location is very good and very close to a couple of freeways.

If you have a special diet plan or special diet request no matter what it is the facility will work with you.note any type of food allergies and dietary history.due to me they now know about Liquid Lactose Allergy.there Resident clientele is specifically those with a kind of cognitive impairment.they offer OT & PT as a resident I consider it exercise therapy.staff here will always listen.try not to get upset with them.i have a few times it slows the process a little.the rooms are 2 & 3 bed bedroom with curtains dividing each section.the facility offers diaper changes, specialized meal planning and a porch area,OT,PT can be done in your room,on the porch or a available therapy room

As a nursing student I spent 8 weeks of a rotation at Vista Del Sol, helping care for residents and learn new skills. While there I noted that the staff were kind, and that the residents seemed rested and content in their new home. Physical and behavioral therapists came each day to work with the residents, and volunteers regularly visited to do crafts, provide musical diversions and play games witht he residents. More assistive personnel (CNA's) maybe beneficial, but otherwise a great facility.
