My mother is in MD Premier Luxury Senior Home. It is a smaller space and for a while, she was the only person in there. Then another person moved in just recently and a third person is scheduled to come in this week. It is a little hard to tell; for the first couple of weeks, she's the only person in there. It is hard to rate how they're going to handle things once it fills up because it is a maximum of 6 people. I have nothing but good things to say about them. It is a beautiful facility, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff really cares about my mom and bend over backward to accommodate her. I just don't have anything negative to say about them. It is about as high end as you can get. It is in a residential area and they're right at the end of a cul-de-sac near the last home and it looks like they have pretty much the whole area. It is just nice. There is a huge gazebo that has couches and chairs and a fan and even on hot days when we're out there busy with my mom, it is still reasonable, even in the afternoon. They have a big barbecue area and rose gardens. They seem to have really good food; they even sent me pictures of the meals that she's had. It is hard when you are dealing with that much money. Do you ever get the value? It just seems like a shock as to what you have to pay. But I would say, considering the prices you have to pay, it is comparable. She is in a single room and she shares a bath. She has a doorway into the bathroom but then there is another room on the other side of the bathroom that they have access to. The family is a Romanian family, and they owned a chain of assisted living places in Romania and their son lives in the other half of the facility where the residential home is. He is there all the time and the caretakers have been living there so there is a lot of staff onsite all the time.
