My dad stayed at MJ Home Care, which is a board and care home, for 11 days. I enjoyed it, and I think he enjoyed it. It's really good. I liked it. It had good people, and it was a good arrangement for him. He had his own private room with a bathroom attached. As far as amenities went, it's pretty bare-bones, but it was clean and comfortable, and they were attentive to him. I had no complaints at all. He was there on respite care. He got services with medication, feeding, and bathroom. He needs help 24/7 and he could have stayed there, but he's on MediCal, so he had to transition to a skilled nursing facility. They were great. I wouldn't mind being in a place like that myself. Value for the money was good.
