My mother-in-law was at Lake Chabot Care Home. That place was perfect for her. They were much smaller and I think they were one of those that were converted homes, so I think they only had a maximum capacity of six or seven individuals. They had much more of a home family environment. She felt much more comfortable socializing with others because she got to know all of them. She didn't get overwhelmed and they also allowed her much more flexibility. If she wanted to stay in bed or sleep in later or eat later, she was able to. They were very accommodating to every resident's needs. Also, the place was kept very clean.
