"I was very pleased with Marymount Villa. The staff was wonderful. As soon as I walked into the door, there was somebody there who greeted me. When I went to each floor, there were members of the staff with the residents and they all greeted me. The room that I saw had 2 beds in there, and I was OK with that. The residents were doing activities while I was there, and some were dancing. Their dining room looked great."

"My mother is in Golden Living Guest Home, LLC. It's a board and care for six people. It's bright and cheerful, and they encourage the people to engage in activities. I haven't had that much contact with the staff, but they seem very nice. I'm very pleased with them. There's a lot of light, and there's a backyard area with trees. They encourage people to walk and the first time I walked in before my mom moved in just to see the place, somebody was tossing a big ball around these people for physical activity. My mom crochets, but they also have her work on a matching game or a jigsaw puzzle. I've been very pleased with them. There are always people around. There are lots of people to socialize with and there are activities. We're paying almost the same as the other place she was at and yet I feel like I get a lot more at this place. The residents do manicures, some of them like to cut hair and pedicures and things like that."

"Brookdale San Ramon is a very beautiful environment. You are surrounded by nature. It's like you're on your vacation. I like the environment, and I think their garden is beautiful. I think it will be very pleasant if you go outside to sit in the garden. The interior is also very beautiful, very wide, and very high. I saw old ladies coming out, and they were neat and very clean to me. That's my overall impression. It is so peaceful and quiet, and I would love to live there in my old age. I love the staff who helped me. They're nice and pleasant. Their calendars mentioned a lot of activities, but I didn't see a lot of people outside, except for two to five old ladies hanging out. It seems that everybody is staying in their room, so that's an impression on me. The common areas are very good and very beautiful. It's very clean."

"The rooms in Emerald Valley were beautiful. The one that I looked at is a one-bedroom. I liked everything except the stove. They had a stove in there that only had two burners, one in the front, and one in the back. I did not like that. You should have both burners in the front. They have activities like gardening, and my mother loves gardening. I saw the food and it looked good. The staff members were nice."

"I toured Welcome Home Senior Residences-Dublin for my mother. It seemed like they only have a handful of residents like four or six, so, it seems like they kind of do whatever the individual needs. It wasn't a group approach. The house was clean and cozy. I felt like there was a little bit of a trip hazard between the flooring, but it was very small and my mom's pretty stable. There was a little bit of a funny smell in there, too. But they also said they just had the couch cushions cleaned and we had our masks on. So, I don't know if it was just the cleaning solution. The person that gave us the tour doesn't stay there, but she was very good and knowledgeable. The two staff people that were there were quiet, but they seemed efficient, and they seemed present. We only saw one resident and I don't know if the others were just in their room. It doesn't seem like there was much activity going on like in a group home where they can plan for all the residents. If you want a quiet, calm, and just homey atmosphere, I think it was very nice. I might put my mom in more of a group setting because I think she needs more interaction and more inclusion and activity that would be planned. The dining area was just like the kitchen of a home. There was one big table which looked beautiful."

"We moved my father into this facility and the staff were very welcoming and caring from day 1. The maintenance team was able to get the room ready quickly and went above and beyond by assisting with my fathers furniture, which they didn't need to help with. The team fostered my dad as he came in not really wanting to change his ways, but after a short while he was engaging with staff and other residents and having a great time socializing. As for his health, the team was attentive and helpful in his recovery and care. Within weeks my dad was up and out of his wheelchair and is now walking fully on his own. My dad is someone who is usually adverse to new environments and people, but so far he has been having a blast and enjoying himself. His favorite is the onsite barber who comes and is able to cut his hair and shave him! super cool. One thing my dad wished was up and running is the shuttle service. Due to pandemic and other circumstances, the shuttle is not currently running, but he is remaining hopeful! "

"I went through the tour there at Ivy Park at Pleasanton and saw their facility, and everything looks fantastic, but the price was just way too high for my ex-wife's income. It looked very clean. There was no bad smell there or anything like that. Everything looked like it was running smoothly there. The patients all looked happy. It looked like it would have been a fantastic place, and I'm sure it is. I'd give the staff who gave the tour an A plus. Nicole was very nice and very informative. She told me exactly what they were all about there, took me around, showed me the rooms, and where they would be showering. It was a very good experience. They gave me cookies, which were very good. The dining room looked very nice and very clean. They said they did have activities there, some type of maybe field trips or something. She didn't go into that extensively, but she did brush over that, and it sounded like it would be a very good thing to have activities for the people that had memory problems."

"We placed him at Danville Home because we felt that the place was safe inside. A nice lady gave us a tour of the whole place. They were cooking lunch, and it smelled good. It looks like the place is very good to live in. The room was small, but it’s adequate for him. "

"We toured Watermark at San Ramon. It was very comprehensive and clean, and the person who toured the place with us was very knowledgeable. The food seemed okay because we ordered from the menu. The facility was a very well-run place, but it was not suitable for what we were looking for."

"They take Alzheimer's patients. My wife has Alzheimer's disease that's why she is there. They have very good and caring staff. Food is very good. They have very big rooms. My wife seems to be very happy there. She has been there since last September. "

"I toured Welcome Home Senior Residence - Pleasanton. It's clean and neat, and it smelled good. The person who gave the tour was nice, they were friendly and open to showing the guest rooms or client rooms. I spoke to a guest there, she was very happy with the staff, and she liked the facility. She thought they were good-humored and she's enjoying her stay there, that's what she told me. It seemed nice, but they didn't have any openings at the time. And that was just an impromptu visit, they were not expecting me, and they're satisfactory."

"Waters Edge Lodge wasn't super nice, but it was OK, and the location was great. The staff was really nice, and the place seemed happy. I saw the dining room, exercise room, a little café, and a rec room. The apartments that I saw were good but smaller than I thought."
