2-28-23 I’m here because I have two fractured legs, and unable to take care of myself. This place is horrible. They don’t come to help you when you turn your call light on, they ignore you, they just walk by say in a minute! the nurses just say they’re always busy! I need my pain medication and I don’t get it on time!! not till 2/3! hours later! After the time I should have had it!! I just got back from having surgery on my left tibia! I have asked for the nurse several times cause I want to know what my discharge papers say and I want some pain medication. I am in lots of pain I’m a 10 I’m HURTING! Finally came in after about two hours, and said I’m not in the system there’s nothing he can do there’s no medicine for me. I said no way you can call the doctor something and get something for me. I can’t go all night without something and he’s just said there’s nothing for me! Nothing he can do! we didn’t know you were coming? I can’t believe they didn’t call the facility this morning and my caseworker came in and told me I was coming back here so I don’t believe they didn’t knew that this morning!! I know I should put ice on it. I keep asking for ice packs and they don’t bring me any.!!! I called for my nurse again. He came in asking what I wanted. I told him I wanted him to call at the doctor and see about medication for me. I know he could call. He said he’s called him but but it’s late now almost 10:00PM i’m not gonna keep calling him it’s late! And he tells me again I’m not in the system yet. There’s three people ahead of me so too bad that I want pain medication. I’m not in the system yet! And walked out of the room!! Still don’t know anything about my discharge from the hospital what was written on my paperwork orders from the Dr so that’s just ridiculous and telling me that he can’t get a hold of Dr. And it’s late and he’s probably in bed and he don’t want to wake him up. Kind of answer is that!!!! I just had surgery I’m in pain. How does he know? I don’t have a blood clot going on. He hasn’t even come to check me. quite a few of the nurses are very unprofessional, and not not compassionate at all. this is who my insurance contracts with, and said that the only place they couldn’t get me in. It’s ridiculous. It’s not a rehab place.

I've visited my mother several times over the past month and what I have noticed is changes all around. New Administrator is very welcoming, the nursing staff are very helpful and kind. My mother says the food has improved so much. I would recommend Parkview to everyone. Thank you

This is the facility that VA contracts with. VA needs to find another facility. Family member w as there. Most of the staff was very friendly, had to find some of them to find out who was caring my family that day. The place has smell in it and it's not a good smell. The staff never knows when the doctors are coming so family can speak with them. Staff also talks about the residents private business to their roommates. I was inside to pick my family members name and/or initials on their clothes. I had to go to the laundry room to find their clothes, I ended up taking the dirty clothes and washing them myself self. If you care about your families friends don't send them here.

Tried calling on 3-14-20 at 11:15 AM to get an update on a family member and the front desk staff was very rude. There was much noise in the background and I asked if you can hear me. The woman responded very rudely saying: "I said I can hear you." I said it seems like you are annoyed by me and asked to speak with a supervisor. She said there is no supervisor in today and when I asked for the supervisors name and when they would be in, they hung up on. I called back a few minutes later another woman answered and also didnt know who the supervisor is nor when they would be in as it varies day to day and neither would give their names.
