"My mom is here. The location is amazing. The facility is beautiful, new, clean, and smells amazing. My mom is in the memory care section, and it is very nice, clean, and well taken care of. Also, my mom has been taken care of very well. I'm very pleased with the care she gets there. They get her up every morning and get her out into the center. I like that their memory care section is one big, open section in the middle where all their rooms open into the middle. So they get all the residents out into the center where they have their breakfast and do activities. They're able to interact and see all the residents in the middle. They have an outside area where they can go and sit. They also have different games that they play all day. They have TVs where they can watch movies, do arts and crafts, and do gardening. They have nice rooms, which have a nice closets. The bedroom is nice, wide, and long. Everybody gets a separate bathroom there. It has a walk-in shower, and it's handicapped-accessible all around with pull tags, poles, and handrails. It has two windows that look out, so it's a very nice room. They don't have any shared rooms. Each resident gets their own room. They call me all the time, give me updates, and let me know things that are going on with my mom. There are always daily specials, and you can also order off a menu."

"We toured and the staff was wonderful. They were all very nice. It seemed clean. The people there are pretty happy and it was nicely appointed. They showed us some menus. They have music and they have chair exercises. They have a general receiving area. They have a nice dining room and a couple of seating areas. They have a courtyard. The rooms were nice. The bigger ones were fine but the average ones were on the small side. They have a microwave and a small refrigerator."

"Real Care LLC is very beautiful. I visited their assisted living, and it's a very nice community. They accept Medi-Cal, but my brother doesn't have that. The lady who did the tour explained everything and was not rushing. She answered all the questions that I had and took the time to walk me around. She was a very nice lady. She only spoke English, though. It would be really nice if they had bilingual people there. I understood everything, but I would have preferred Spanish. The facility looks clean and well-organized. The rooms were also decorated nicely, and it felt like a good family-oriented environment. I visited the dining room, and it was nice, but there were no people, and there were no meals, even though it was lunchtime."

"We found Redwood Senior Living Bakersfield to be a calm place. Everybody seemed to be happy there. We've talked to some of the clients there, and they seemed well-adjusted. They had some pets there. We were kind of impressed with it, and we liked it. The guy that took us on a tour was very polite, very informative, and answered all of our questions. He was very good with the residents that were there. The bedrooms were okay. They were nicely cleaned and neat. There were some personal items in some of the rooms. The dining area was nice and roomy. We talked to some of the cafeteria people that cooked there, and they were nice. So overall, it was good. The building itself is old. It just needs some updating. But other than that, it was nice and clean, and there was no odor."
