I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We moved my mother to The Pointe at Summit Hills. They keep it very clean, neat, and it has all kinds of amenities, so that's why we went there. They check on her about every two hours and makes sure she's got everything she needs. They come in and give her assistance with her showers, they take her for haircuts, like when she went to the hair salon yesterday, and they come in and take her down to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hair salon is in the building. They also have a movie night and they take her to that, and they also have crafts. They had a happy hour yesterday. They've got big rooms, but even at that, we got her a two-bedroom instead of a one-bedroom. The living atmosphere there is jovial; the people are very nice. They come and sit down with her at lunch and introduce themselves, and so far have been very, very nice. The menu is good and the food is good. The staff members are all friendly and lovely. They come in and they take care of everything immediately if you have a problem. They have more activities than you can attend. They have lots of senior activities. We're assuming that we're going to get our money's worth out of it. We did a little cost analysis, and we think that it's better there than home care, so we're going to pause.

I visited this facility

My uncle really liked The Pointe At Summit Hills. The apartments were very nice and the place was very clean. We were checking out their assisted living and memory care, and Bridget was very helpful and very nice. They do exercise, they have activity rooms where you could go in and play bingo or different games and stuff, and a theater that you could watch a movie in. Everything looked really good. I was very impressed with it.
