"The tour experience we had at Brookdale Riverwalk was wonderful. Courtney gave us the tour and all the information we needed, and she was terrific. It was a beautiful place. I'm sure my mom would be very comfortable there. I checked out the menu and I wouldn't have minded eating lunch there. It looked pretty good. The units were very nice, even the studio apartment. It was very well set up. If my mom isn't able to go home, then Brookdale Riverwalk is where we would like to put her. They had pretty much everything. They had a wonderful dining room. They had game rooms and entertainment that came in regularly. They had activities every day, all day. The transportation to doctor's appointments and shopping was all provided. So, it looked like they had everything you needed."

"Ive be n a physical rehabilitation patient for almost two weeks and want to say I found the nursing staff here very kind and caring..really nice I am also impressed with the physical and the habilitation people who are consideratw and kind Thw food although sometines spare time s usually very good I recommend this facility."

"I've been to Kern River Transitional Care and I liked that place. It's a skilled nursing facility and my sister was there for a short time after surgery. They were very nice. The staff was very nice to my sister and they're also very helpful. The food was great and there was a lot of food. They're very informative too. Their rooms were very nice and clean. The part I went to was more of a hospital setting since it was skilled nursing. She was in her room, but a lot of people were also outside either dining in or on the patio outside. "

"HealthSouth was excellent. My mom was there for 21 days. They did PT, OT, speech therapy, and nursing care. The physician made rounds once or twice a day at all his patients. Food was fine. They served food for the patients, family members and guests. "

"I have toured Rosewood Retirement Community. I was all set to go in there. I had the money for the room monthly, plus I had the entrance fee, but for some reason or another, they combined that with my age and they refused me, so I gave up then.I liked everything about it. I liked the room. I could take my pet with me. I had a luncheon there, and it was very good. It had a nice big, living room and a separate bedroom, big bathroom, and the kitchen is right off of the living room. Kitchen/living room together. It had a small partition between them. I looked at a studio apartment, which I could afford. Mostly, bingo was the biggest activity. They have different card games. The neighborhood is real nice there. There was a hospital right behind them. That's where my wife passed away. I had her in Rosewood the last month she was alive. "

"My brother stayed at The Orchards Post-Acute for acute care and therapy. They could've done a better job with housekeeping, but it wasn't that bad either. He had a feeding tube and medical care there. There were doctors there, and his room was more like a hospital room with a hospital bed. There were two patients to a room. The staff was good, and the food had a nice variety."
