I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Multiple safety issues regarding our loved one being neglected and forgotten about. Multiple injuries while there and only provided with the explanation “We have no idea how it happened.” The latest injury required a trip to the ER. Please PLEASE protect your loved one and find a different facility. I only wish I could post pictures here showing the injuries I mentioned.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I just wanted to let the staff of Conway Healthcare & Rehab know how much our family appreciates you for the caring and compassion you showed to my mom and our family during her illness. During a time that was made even more difficult for us by COVID, the staff bent over backwards to make sure we had contact with our mom the entire time, whether it was a window visit, a patio visit, or just making sure her cell phone was charged for us to talk to her whenever we needed to. They were always professional and courteous. They all seemed to truly care about my mom, and spent extra time talking to us and keeping us up-to-date on things. I truly believe that your job is a calling . If it weren't, you would not be able to stay there long. My mom is in heaven now with our dad. You helped her on her journey there. Thanks for everything.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We placed our father in Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation for a short time right after his surgery. I didn't feel that they gave them enough attention. Somebody would come in, say he would be back in a few minutes, and it would be an hour and half or two hours before they would get back to take care of what he needed. I didn't think much of the physical therapist people; they were kind of hard on him and making it worse for him. The rooms were clean but aged a little, and they had a few things that could have been fixed up a little better. That had been a nursing home for a long time, so I was surprised that they were in a good shape. The staff did a good job keeping it clean. The food varied from meal to meal. Some of the meals were extremely good but sometimes not so good. The people were courteous and friendly to the residents.

I am a friend or relative of resident

The nurses are good at the facility but some of the CNA's need to go back to school for something else than nursing. Some are lazy and do not do their jobs., The one thing I have noticed that when one patient gets sick from something they all catch it and that is not considered healthy. It never smells clean, and there is never any prell for anyone to clean their hands. To me a nursing home should smell fresh and clean and not like urine and poop 24/7. As for health, the patients catch EVERYTHING from each other,, there should be a state health check on that. Do not like the doctor that comes in, he seems to be slow at getting around to the sick patients and does not know a lot about certain things. He seems to let them get pneumonia a lot before he gives antibiotics. There is way to much pneumonia that goes on in the nursing home to be a healthy place to live. There is limited things for the patients to do and they stay bored and there is not really a lot of places for the go outside and sit or do outside, nothing to see. It really needs to be updated with the times.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I had my mom stayed in Conway Nursing Home. The therapist overall was fine. However, I just don't like the facility on whole. This place smelled like urine. We went there like every other day, and they had the same group of people just sitting in their front room and it smelled like pure urine. It was like they take these people, put them up front and leave them there all day. They really need to improve on cleanliness.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

Conway Healthcare & Rehab provided service for my grandfather in his last months. The facilities were clean and felt warm and hospitable. I was surprised at the large open spaces available, including outdoor areas and open social spaces for viewing movies, playing games, or simply conversing with other residents. There was a high quality shuttle service provided for free transport within the vicinity of Conway Healthcare & Rehab. Although smoking was obviously not allowed inside, Conway Healthcare & Rehab allowed my grandfather to smoke outside. I thought it was also nice to know that the employees at the Clinic discouraged my grandfather from smoking only verbally, which he was used to by that age! They truly seemed to care about his well-being, and what more can someone ask of an assisted living facility than that? Conway Healthcare & Rehab is one of the better facilities of this nature that I've witnessed, and I would recommend it to anyone.
