My father lived at Silver Springs (Green Valley) for about 10-months. We just moved him out to get him closer to family. This was a difficult (but we feel necessary) decision, to allow us to better manage his affairs and care, with family members now minutes away instead of a 1000+ miles. Everything about Silver Springs is top-notch. I was very impressed my first visit. The location is superb, in a beautiful rural area with a grand view of the Santa Rita mountains behind the golf course. The manicured grounds and layout of the facility almost make you feel like you’re on a cruise ship. I’ve dined with my father multiple times – the food is very tasty, always fresh (try a salad!) and the variety and preparation are excellent. As others have mentioned, the best feature at Silver Springs is the staff. They are all friendly, helpful, and I believe truly care about the residents. I made many unannounced visits where I would be sitting in my father’s room, and a care giver would pop-in (and be surprised by my presence) to see if he was ready to head to the dining-room, or just check-in to make sure he was doing ok. The office staff is courteous and professional, and handled all aspects of the finances and moving logistics with ease and care. My experience with Silver Springs is 5-stars in every category. I wish my dad could have stayed.

Silver Springs was a very nice facility. I was impressed with everything there. It was a very large and beautiful campus. The staff that gave me the tour was very nice and very informative. She kind of knew that this was not going to be the best fit for my aunt, but she was very helpful and gave us a lot of information. She even gave us some ideas on what we needed to look for moving forward. I was pretty pleased with her.

Silver Springs is my favorite. It has so much to offer in every area. My sister is pretty disabled and they have the staff there that can care for her. They have therapy. They have a lot of different activities that I think she would enjoy it. They had a musical performance going on while we were there, and it was excellent. They also have activities like bingo and stuff that anybody could take part in. They have a hair salon. They have just about anything that a person would need right there. They take you to the doctor when you need it and even take you to church. I like it there. They showed me just about everything, and I was very impressed with the total experience. It was clean and well maintained. The apartments were very nice. We looked at the studio and the one-bedroom, and they were both nice. We were more impressed with the one-bedroom. Even the elevators pause long enough for a wheelchair to get in. The lady who took us around was very informative. She knew how to display everything.

Silver Springs was beautiful. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and caring. The facilities were beautiful and just spirit-lifting. The thing that my parents liked the best is that they could be together no matter how frail they get. It was by far the nicest place that we have seen and it had everything that they wanted to have. The apartments were small but adequate and they have lots of other group spaces around the facility. There were at least two libraries, an exercise room, laundry facilities that they could use, and a beautiful dining area. My mother and I had lunch there and the food was spectacular. It was fresh and just wonderful. The menu was amazing. So, everything's very nice. Lisa was the first one that gave us a tour, and she was just lovely and very kind towards my mom. She was wonderful. Then we took my dad later the next day and Cynthia gave us the second tour. She was amazing as well, wonderful, and kind. She was so good with my dad and went out of her way to make sure that he felt at home and comfortable with her. They were both fantastic. The residents that I saw were really sweet and all so kind. Everybody there was amazing.

We went to look at Silver Springs. The physical experience is outstanding. It's a beautiful complex with lovely art and outside spaces. It's exceptionally clean. The staff was extremely helpful, very thorough in her tour, very pleasant, and kind. They did offer food, and it was very, very good. I saw the schedule of their activities, and it's very nice. They have card games, bingo, arts and crafts, and current events. The rooms were very nice. They have a large walk-in closet. The bathroom is very spacious, handicapped accessible, and wheelchair accessible. The living area itself is very large and with a small kitchen area.

I'd been at Silver Springs to visit a friend and I had been there for meetings. They're very generous with their community rooms. It's very nice. We're very lucky down in this neck of the woods. We have very nice assisted living places. They are extremely well handled and well run and very accommodating. My friend is extremely comfortable there and very happy that she had moved there. I was just visiting with her. I wasn't surveying the surroundings. She is very comfortable, so I was very happy that she is. We went to lunch and I was very briefly in her room. The food was good. I had a salad and it was fresh, crisp, and very nice. The facility was very nice and more on the homey side.

We went to Silver Springs. I was very impressed, we went twice, the gentleman that gave us the tour was pretty nice, gave us free lunch, toured some of the rooms, and the whole facility. We had an ex-neighbor that was in there for awhile, but it was too spendy for what my mother could afford. They actually invited us back for festivities that they had. They had a great fish tank in the lobby area that my mom liked. Cleanliness was very good, the dining room was very large, very clean, and the food was good.

Silver Springs was very nice. It has a very nice atmosphere. It's fairly new, upper scale, and has beautiful surroundings. It's all on one level. The only thing I didn't like about the rooms was that they had little tiny kitchenettes in a cubby hole, and I was looking for something a little bigger than that. The food was very good.

My parents were past residents of Silver Springs. They're twice as expensive as where they are now and there were absolutely no incentives for them to move in. From the moment they moved into the place, the toilet in the one and only bathroom kept overflowing. Breakfast was an extra cost. They provided housecleaning and linens for the beds. They had a veterans group. There's also a buy-in. When we left there, we gave them a 30-day notice, but we moved out on the 20th of the month and gave them the keys, so there was nobody living there until May 2nd, so my in-laws ended up having to pay for the remainder of that month plus one day. When we first met them all, they were all very nice, but upon us choosing to leave, they were cold as ice. The meals became smaller in quantity and much less attractive. Most of the staff members were pretty good and were trying very hard.

Silver Springs is in an older building, but it's very nice, elegant, and clean, and everything smells nice. The apartments are a little small, but they provide total care. They offer three meals a day with very good food. The residents are well taken care of.

I was very impressed with Silver Springs. I liked their dining area quite well; they had a salad bar, and it was impressive to me. More stuff was connected. The people were very cordial and very helpful. We saw a very small one bedroom; they were also so full, you had to reserve for the two bedroom apartments. For some reason, Silver Springs just appealed to me. They had a separate dining area for family get togethers.

Silver Springs was in the process of a remodel which is needed. The place looked a bit old, but we did feel everyone there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a very nice facility. In fact, my dad left a deposit with them thinking that if something happens and he needed more assistance, he will move in.

Across the street from us was a place called Silver Springs. It wasn't bad and I would even recommend it to other, but it wasn't our favorite. They do offer medical care and we found no complaints over there. But Silver Springs was built so many years ago that their cabinets and the kitchen were no longer attractive.

My mother is a resident at the Silver Springs Retirement Home. I was worried, and didn't like the idea of my mother being taken care of by strangers, but the Silver Springs Retirement Home completely relinquished any fears I had. Living most of her life near Green Valley, Arizona, my mother, Anne, wanted to be somewhere close to her home. We visited Silver Springs and decided that it was perfect! The environment is very relaxing and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. She never feels bored or alone, because there is a lot to be involved with. Also, the other residents and staff at Silver Springs are extremely friendly. They also seemed to have a genuine consideration and care for other residents. Instantly, my mother felt right at home! My mother loves the scenery, as well as the food and golf. Another thing that my mother and I appreciate about Silver Springs is that it was small. It sort of has a country, care-free feel to it.
