My mom is a resident of The Bungalows at Riverchase. They're very caring and they keep the seniors active. They're reasonably priced for assisted living, and I checked out a lot of places. I like the interaction; they have community meetings. They get together with the seniors and get their opinion on things, and that's really good. I like the meal plan. The people that work there are very nice. I like the feel of the facility. The food is good. The facility is really beautiful. When you pull up, you can tell it's cared for. The young man that cares for the community, he does all the work around, and he keeps it immaculate. It's always clean, always inviting. They have really nice outdoor spaces and indoor spaces for the seniors. They have the beauty shop salon. They assist them if they need to go to doctors' appointments. They have a van that can take them when they go on their little senior outings. My mom just went on one about a week ago, and she's like in seventh heaven. The van accommodated them to take that little outing. They take them maybe to Walmart or something like that if they want to go. They have assistance with bathing and things of that nature.

I toured The Bungalows at Riverchase. It was beautifully kept. It was well-lit. It was clean and very spacious. I only had a tour with the director, but she was wonderful and was able to sit down and answer any questions. She'd been in the business for many many years, so she knew her stuff very well. She wanted me to bring my mom by, and she was going to have lunch there and whatever, but she showed me the cafeteria and the menu. There were residents eating while I was there. They had several libraries. There was a salon. There was a little makeshift movie theater. There was a puzzle room, there was laundry throughout. It's a big square, so you can't get lost or go down the wrong hallway. It was very well put together.

The Bungalows at Riverchase was just beautiful. It had been built specifically for the seniors. The residents and everyone seemed to be happy. I didn't see a sad face there anywhere. They all have positive things to say about the place. It was a friendly, homey feeling and not institutional at all. It's not like walking into a hospital room where there's nothing on the walls but medical equipment. It was very nice. The rooms were a nice size. They really were. We've met one lady who, like me, has a lot of furniture. She brought in a couple of pieces that practically filled up her living area, but still the apartments were nice. They were laid out well. They have a little garden out back that's very nicely manicured and kept up. They had several areas within the facility where you could sit and chat. It's almost like little private spots where you could just hang out, and I had to take advantage of them. I had to sit a couple of times while we were walking through. The staff was very nice. They were not intrusive, but they were there ready to help with anything if anyone needed. It is a newer facility than some of the others, but still it was clean. It was just great. I was ready to move in when I left there.

The Bungalows at Riverchase were small and more intimate. It had a homey feeling to it, and it felt relaxing. It just felt like something the person you are preparing for would like. We've already picked out a room that we'd like for my friend's father to have and I think it's going to be fine. It's the one that has a closet in it. I think it's better than the one that does not have a closet. I'm not sure if he will be using any of the amenities but we want to make sure that he is involved and not just sitting in his room all day because he's not active. From what we saw walking through, I think the staff was fine. It is hard to know what goes on a daily basis though because there wasn't much going on when we went there. I think there was a guy there with some drums, but other than that, there weren't any other activities that we saw. They've been very nice and accommodating. We feel like that would be a good place, but the assessment has not been done so we haven't been able to move any further right now.

I think The Bungalows at Riverchase assisted living was perfect for my mother. It was very personable, they could all decorate their doors individually, and it was really good. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. The facilities were beautiful but it's expensive. They have a salon, game nights, and they have good entertainment. They have a beauty parlor and laundry too.

We did a tour of The Bungalows at Riverchase. We were very impressed with what we saw yesterday. We still have some financial figures to fiddle with, but we're very impressed with the staff and the facilities. It's a very nice facility. It was well kept, spacious, had lots of open spaces, and was aesthetically pleasing. All our questions were answered, so I was pleased. The executive director led us on the tour and gave us literature and answered our questions. She was very knowledgeable, very personable, and just all-around helpful. It had wide halls and a lot of open gathering places inside and out. We looked at three studios and they were adequate. They had gathering places where folks can sit, watch TV, or play games. The eating area was really nice, and there were places to sit outside.

We went last week and had a good tour there. The staff was very friendly, very informative and it's a nice place. The rooms were a little small. They have three meals a day. I enjoyed the visit there. I liked that they have a doctor that comes to visit there and a nurse station if you need anything. You have your own apartment. One thing we didn't like about them is they're making all the residents wear the masks anytime they're outside their room.

Morningside of Riverchase seemed like a nice place that I would probably consider relocating my mother to. The staff that helped me tour the community was very knowledgeable and helpful. I liked her. She showed me the rooms, which seemed OK.

We were going to Morningside of Riverchase, but we knew we would have to move my mother again because it didn't have the skilled living part. It has been redone. The director took us around and showed us all the facilities, and we were treated very well. They had a little beauty shop, a library, TV rooms, and different sized rooms. But they're not overly convenient because of where they're located.
