I would not put my worst enemy in this boarding house. The place is has a cold and dusty feel. The residents go hungry and most never leave except to go to the doctor. "The only assist offered is help getting in and out of bed and bathing. Staffing is a joke. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVE ONE HEAR!

First of all home sweet home is a boarding home not an assisted living. I have had 2 family members that has lived there for years. It is the only place I would 100% recomend. It may be an older building but it is clean. Maybe if the owner would not take in people that couldn't afford the rate she could buy new furniture. I'm in home sweet home often, all the residents love it there and has been living at hsh for many years. As for the dogs, well the residents love them and the dogs are a great asset for the residents. Don't judge a book by its cover

I visited this place and it is no "home sweet home". It is a cold, lifeless building. A huge dog greets you on front porch and one is on the couch inside. The patrons are not happy and cared for. The place is very old, well worn, and unkempt. I did not enter the kitchen itself, which was just a small area. The place is not where I would ever want my family member to spend their golden years. I was appalled. The only piece of furniture that was modern and new was a flat screen tv.
