We are currently using Senior Helpers that are serving the Greenfield area. I only had two visits. The first young lady that came out was very nice and very attentive. However, we have a dog, and they neglected to tell her that we had a dog; she was allergic, so she only spent an hour before she had to leave. The second person they sent (that was last week) was very, very nice but very, very quiet, and my mother was quiet, too, so they kind of just sat there. So I said, I'd like somebody that's a little bit more outgoing and not afraid to try and pull my mother out of her shell. So that's where we're at right now. For two weeks they were unable to give me somebody on the day that we had selected, which is Thursday. But my problem is that they kind of let you know last minute. So that's the only thing I have a problem with. They help my mother with her walking and some physical therapy exercises that she's been given. They also are retraining her on the use of our chair lift within our house. At times my mother forgets to use the chair lift the way it's intended. She doesn't turn the seat away from the stairs, and she tries to get out of the chair lift without turning the seat, so we have to keep reminding her of that, and so we make her practice, and so then they help with that. They will help with making sure she gets in the shower safely. She can handle the shower on her own, but just making sure that she has everything she needs and then gets in the shower and takes care of things and just spends some time with her talking, that type of thing. That's what we've done so far. They will also get her lunch if it turns out that the hours that they're here are during a lunch period. They haven't had the opportunity to do that yet because they've been here for three hours from 9 till noon, and so then I just make sure that I'm home at that time so that I can get her lunch.

Absolutely inexcusably bad. This service will send people to your home to do nothing but turn around and leave when they find out you have animals they are allergic to that the company was aware of, tell you they have no one to come for the next day's shift, then send someone the next day without any notice to also do nothing because they were not expected and you've made other arrangements - then have the audacity to charge you for nothing. Stay away if you actually want care for your loved ones.

We are using Senior Helpers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I really liked the man I spoke with at Senior Helpers. They were A+ rated on Better Business Bureau and I just felt comfortable with their take on dementia as well. The first caregiver was not so great, but the newest one is wonderful. She works hard and does what my mom asks her. She is a great fit. They have worked with our schedule, and they have been very flexible. The man I spoke with alone kind of sold me on what they were doing just because of his understanding. They will do shopping; they will take them to appointments; they will do housekeeping; they help with cooking; they have taken my dad for walks and do puzzles with him. Pretty much anything that we have asked, they have done.

We have been using them since Dec 2020. They are really on their game. They have really reliable workers. They are trained & know what to do when they arrive. The care We are receiving from Senior Helpers is right on point. They listen to us & are pretty Knowledgeable about the Care she is receiving.

I think Senior Helpers is excellent and doing a fine job. We have been using them since February. We needed someone very quickly, and they came in for us. They have been very good, not late, and do just what we want. My mom does not require much care, just needs someone there. We are satisfied.
