Last year my father was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer. He managed to live about 2 months after the initial diagnosis.
These 2 months were the most grueling and emotional 2 months I have ever gone through. I can’t speak for my mother, but I know that she had a very difficult time as well. There was no way that my mom or I were going to be able to take care of my father by ourselves, especially with me still working full time. Knowing that there was someone there taking care of my father, put both my mother and myself at ease. I know the rest of our family feels the same way I do. I want to thank Michele for her excellent care of my father in his final months of life. I know it couldn’t have been easy but her professionalism and patient care was greatly appreciated in our time of need.
