The current caregiver is very good, but there shouldn't be such a significant drop off in the quality of service. It should be more consistent. The reason I rate them lower is because there seems to be a broad fluctuation in the quality of the caregivers they send. The one that I have now is good, but there is a significant drop off in some of the other ones I have had.

They are very helpful at getting me ready in the mornings. The caregiver we have is very good at getting me up in the morning and getting me dressed, but then after that, they tend to go to sleep or talk on the phone a lot.

I don't have to worry about anything anymore. My mom was kind of a handful, and I was getting a lot of calls from the facility. Now, I get fewer calls. The caregivers I have right now is outstanding. The scheduling and support is outstanding. I had a couple caregivers that I wasn't happy with, and the scheduling people switched them out immediately. I like their responsiveness and the quality they have.

It is somewhat frustrating because there are times where they can't find people for Saturdays or Sundays. The caregiver we have had for over a year now works 6 days a week. It is their choice, but they need some freedom. I asked for a specific gender in the first place, but have never had one. I didn't get to interview the caregivers like I wanted to. I think that their price is very high for seniors when we have to have it. I think $26 an hour is outrageous. A lot of the time the caregiver is just "babysitting." Their price is horribly high for seniors. I can understand why people are changing to private care.

I had a caregiver that came twice a week, but I lost her to a case that was five days a week.
