When my uncle was needing assistance as he sought to return home from a surgical procedure, my family knew that we would have to begin looking into proper health care for him. None of us could fully take care of his needs... thus began the search for an appropriate home care agency and one that aide my uncle in his recovery, assisting with his catheter, and beginning therapy with him, all in the comfort of his beloved home. As my uncle left the hospital, fear and anxiety struck my family as we prepared for this transition. Yet Cornerstone Home Health and Hospice made his adjustment into life back home not only easy, but also comfortable. My family and I couldn't be more pleased with the kindness and genuineness of the staff, the high quality of care, and the way that everyone we came into contact with treated my uncle with dignity, respect, and worth. We were informed many times that counseling services would be available should my uncle slip into depression and discouragement at his newfound immobility. With the accurate, thorough, and concerned care that was provided to him, he felt much better than expected and adjusted more quickly than any of us could have imagined.
