We have used this home health agency twice. The first time was unpleasant visits due to the uncaring staff. The second time that the Dr sent out HH nurses was this agency again, and I know now that I could have requested another agency. The staff do not communicate important information regarding the patient that they are seeing. My father has dementia, had a bad fall with injury yet the visiting nurses had him signing his own forms when I had already explained to intake nurse I was his guardian, and staff needed to followup on his injuries. When I met one of the visiting nurses, she was rude, said she did not know my dad had dementia, or injuries! I found out the number of visits approved by the insurance yet these company failed to meet all these visits then discharged him without even trying to get him recertified. I don't think this company cares for their patients or their business, or maybe its just the staff they have in the office as I requested three times to speak with administrator, and finally today she returned my call and was rude never allowing me to speak my concerns. She said she had to comply with Medicare rules, and my father does'.t even have Medicare. He has Humana..if I had known how the administrator treated their clients, rudely then I would of known that the staff would be the same way.
