My mother is on hospice. The nurses and cna’s are exceptional. They are kind and caring. They make my mother feel comfortable and safe. When anything is needed, it is delivered immediately with consideration. I am thankful for the staff of Nurses on Wheels..

My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s with Lewy Bodies. He was denied care at every nursing home in south Texas because of the medication he had to be on in order to control the behavior associated with the disease process. Nurses on Wheels came into our lives on a referral from a previous patient. I cannot say enough praises about the nurses and support staff that cared for my father in his last months. They were the very best. Complete professionals, caring, compassionate, and always willing to come at any time of the day or night. The nurses that cared for my dad truly had a calling for what they were doing. Even the younger ones truly had such compassion for the elderly and it showed in their interaction with dad every time they came. They Medical aides came three times a week to bath my dad, and the nurses came twice a week to fill the medication box and to check my dad. They usually would spend about an average of 1 to 2 hours with him depending on what was going on. They would even come at any time of the night if needed. In the last week of dad’s life, they came one time at 11pm and was there for at least 2 hrs. And a nurse would come every day to check on dad and see what hs status was. No matter what was going on, these nurses were always ready to come and take care of anything regardless of the time. During the week, they nurses would call, to let you know when they would arrive, and like clockwork, they would be there with it a 30 minute window. If you are looking for an alternative to expensive nursing homes, hospice is the way to go.

My father's doctor suggested Nurses On Wheels. I'm very happy with them. They're very good with older people. I'm very pleased with them. The staff's work ethics is very good. They're very kind. We have been using them for several years now.
