Services offered: Respite / Companion Care Family Caregivers also need breaks in the care they provide to loved ones. Our staff can ensure the client’s safety, health, and comfort while you focus on yourself. Some examples of tasks/services include, but are not limited to: Standby assistance with mobility (excluding transfers) Medication reminders (excluding management of pill containers and feeding of medications) Walks around the neighborhood General safety awareness and monitoring Attendant Care Sometimes our loved ones can benefit greatly from a little more “hands-on” care. Our staff focus on the health and safety of our clients, while ensuring that the key activities of a quality daily life are met and supported. Some examples of tasks/services include, but are not limited to: Respite/companion care as described above Meal preparation and assistance feeding (excluding feeding tubes) Assistance with appointments and errands, as companion and/or driver Guidance and support in and around the home with housekeeping activities (no more than 20% of assigned work) Morning/evening bedroom and/or bathroom routines including pajamas, dental care, and basic toileting activities Personal Care In those special years when our loved ones need an extra level of care, we are there to provide all the assistance they need to live out their life peacefully and in comfort. Care can often be 24 hours per day and it’s important to work with a team that understands, and trains for, the needs of a precious population. Some examples of tasks/services include, but are not limited to: Respite/companion care as described above Attendant care as described above Bathing and bathroom activities - showering, bathing, washing, toileting, dental care, skin and hair care, and nail care (excluding clipping of nails) Physical transfers between bed, seats, wheelchairs, bathroom areas, and vehicles Memory (dementia) care Any other activities related to quality of life
