We don't really benefit from what they are doing right now. I think the other girls do more or less visits and this girl does little things. They could be more on schedule, so we understand and maybe do a few things while she is here. It depends on the kind of care they need; the girls didn't really do much and had to go about half an hour ago and came in late. The provider should be on time and tell you what is going on and not have to leave as early as they do.

They help me with my meals, baths, light housekeeping, and taking me to a doctor's appointment or to the store. They accommodate me, so it's not like I have to plan my things around them. I really do like that. They're professional, which is nice because it can be uneasy to have a stranger come into your home, and it's kind of scary anyways because I am here by myself. They work with me around my schedule. I can make a request for a caregiver for someone that I really like working with.

I have to tell them everything that needs to be done, and I don't like doing that. The women that are coming kind of look at me when I ask them to sweep or throw a load of laundry in. They could be a little more together. They skip appointments.

It really helped to have an extra person, it took a lot off my shoulders. The people were very nice, but I'm not sure how many were from Right at Home because lots of people were coming and going. The were giving me the care two hours, twice per week. It was the best help.

We do not use them very much. My husband is in hospice and I use them when I have a doctor's appointment and have to do some shopping. I know that they are going to be watching him and I do not have to panic. I like that they are dependable, and they send knowledgeable people over.
