About Comfort Keepers in Norwalk, Ohio
Comfort Keepers has been in the community since 2004, operating out of Norwalk, Ohio. Serving clients in Lorain, Erie, Huron, Sandusky, Ottawa and Lucas Counties. We are CHAP Accredited and we have established an excellent reputation in these communities, offering 24/7, year round coverage. We employ STNA's and Home Health Aides. Home Health aides receive 70 hours of training by an RN before being placed with a patient. All employees have a BCI and ACXIOM background check yearly; and are supervised by Registered Nurses. Everyone is bonded and insured, and I carry BWC for all employees. In addition to Basic In-Home Care, Personal Care and Safety Technology Solutions; Comfort Keepers can provide assistance with limited clinical care needs, which would be provided by an LPN or RN. These services include: General Health Assessments Instruction to Client and Family regarding Disease management Administration of Medication (excluding injections) Pre-filling Insulin Syringes Medication Set-up Urinary Catheter Care and Maintenance Bowel Programs Ostomy Care Wound Care/ Dressing Changes Maintaining Skin Integrity We are here to help in any way we can.
