My husband's in a care facility that already has staff, and they have supported the permanent staff so he doesn't fall. They seem very caring and it's not just a business. They seem to really understand and have compassion for people in situations like my husband is in. They are friendly.

They are good because I now have less worries. My mom is getting the care that she deserves. That takes the pressure off of me. They always take care of the burdens that I might have. If they were not there I would have to be doing it. So far they are persistent. My mother likes them and she said they treat her good and are nice. They try to make sure that they are consistent. I do not worry too much about my mom getting her medication. They have been very consistent.

I know that somebody is going to be there to help her with her shower. One of the people who worked for her through the other agency was who Mom requested specifically, and she hasn't seen her yet. Almost always someone comes who is new, and she doesn't like that.

They need to know about oxygen and they are not familiar with it. I cannot go anywhere without it so they need to know how I use it and when it should be filled. The people that come to care for us have not been trained to care for elderly people and they are not CNAs.

Hello Edith, So very sorry for the problem that you experienced. We are a non medical agency, but do help clients with their needs around oxygen, whenever appropriate. We take great care in hiring team members who are not only capable and skilled, but also have the right attitude to take care of our seniors. Unfortunately, every individual’s needs are different and sometimes we make mistakes or can do a better job. Hopefully you appreciate that we are humble enough to accept that, but follow through to ensure mistakes are not repeated. In this specific situation, our caregiver inadvertently made a mistake. So, she received additional training specifically for your needs & situation. Thank you very much for giving us an opportunity to care for your needs.

Most of them will help out in any way they can. Some of them use the dishwasher and the washing machine, and that is nice. Some are very attentive and others will stay on the telephone all the time.

I only have one and she is outstanding and I used to have several. They are on the high end of pricing and went to 11 holidays a year. They could improve in consistency of caregivers.

Hi Tom, Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to provide us with good feedback. Totally agree on the consistency aspect. You know this already, but we try very very hard on that. Unfortunately, this is such a human industry. Everyone's life is always changing and each day is different. Our caregivers' lives are constantly changing too, and so its difficult to find the perfect balance, consistently. We are changing our approach to meet our caregivers' scheduling needs first & foremost, which should lead to them being happy, which in turn should lead to happy clients and families. It will be hard, but nothing worthwhile is easy, and we are committed to doing the best for everyone. Thank you for continuing to have faith in us, and letting us care for your special, loved one.

It helps me two days a month because that is all that they can come. The agency is very transparent and cooperative, but they cannot find someone to assist the patient, who is bedridden. We used to have people that were wonderful, but they no longer work for the company.

It made it more stressful for me. The care providers should be described as what they are, and all they were was a sitter. They would come to my mother's house, and sit on the couch and watch TV while she was there for 3 hours.

They come in, do the job, and then go. We have two caregivers coming to the house, two on Tuesday and Thursday and one on Saturday. We have asked that the one on Saturday to be reassigned. The one caregiver that is here every day is outstanding and the other did the job, but it was very brief. If my wife had an accident, they would change her and then leave, but the other one does more work.

They do not want the clients to be friends with the caregiver. When they found out that I was getting along well with my caregiver, they lectured me about not doing that. They did not want to tell me who my caregiver was. I did not want to open the door and know who was there. They still will not tell me who is coming.

My dad has severe dementia, so they would sit with him at night to make sure he didn't pull on his wires. Essentially, they helped keep him alive. They helped us when we needed it most.

I had expectations of my parents, but they were not able to fill that. I still had to be involved in the care. The caregivers did not take all of my duties away I still had to provide part time care. They are personal to the people in their care. The owner gets to know the patients, and I know that he gives extra training for any extra needs. They meet regularly with me to make sure the care is appropriate. They cared about my parents.

The best part was the conversations. I had very long conversations with both of them about a lot of things, and it was nice. It was a lot of fun actually. They were interested in me, and I could tell they really cared. We've had a long relationship with them, so we were familiar with them and felt comfortable with them. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. The people they sent were warm, friendly, and nice. Management was very competent and professional. They really do try to do the best for their people.

They did little things that I couldn't do, like sweeping a floor. They offered excellent service. My only problem was that I didn't know that they were coming. That just got messed up from my doctor's office. I needed the help, I just didn't know they were coming.

When my caregivers aren't here for a day, I have to do what they usually do, and then I truly miss my caregivers. However, they need to be more willing to take me different places. I think the company needs to spend more time training their caregivers how to cook.

I wasn't there when they were with my dad, but they were really easy to work with and get set up. I needed them in a hurry and they were great to work with and make that happen. My dad actually had fallen and was taken to the emergency room twice in a day. They immediately were able to go over there and sit with him to make sure he didn't get up again. Stress for me fell to a zero knowing he was being watched over and cared for.
