"Home Helpers were local and they went through our local chamber of commerce so I felt comfortable with them. A head person came and met with me and my mom first. They talked over everything, and then the second time when she came, she brought a caregiver with her and spent about an hour with my mom and they started from there. The caregivers are fine. They drive her to and from the local stores or pharmacy. They help her do laundry, housework, make her bed, and take her to doctor’s appointments. The only problem I have is that they called us a few times where they didn’t have anybody to come out because somebody was sick and since she started, they’ve had 3 different people come which I’m not too crazy about. "The care from HomeWell was what we needed to relieve our immense stress. Our father was getting to the point of needing extra help since he was alone. My brother and I just couldn't be there every day with work and our own families. With our dad wanting to stay at home and us not ever wanting to put him in a nursing home because of bad stories we've heard, we needed help and fast. HomeWell staff were the EXACT thing we needed. They were the best. The Care Manager, Natalie, was so helpful and even the owner, Amy, was such a delight to talk to - and very knowledgeable too. The Caregivers were kind and thoughtful and always ready to help. They even thought of activities that we didn't because we were so concerned about his daily things, we didn't even consider the activities aspect. Now my dad's and his caregiver have their daily checkers game! I cannot say enough of great things about HomeWell. So glad Caring.com had them as an option and even happier that we chose them for our dad's care."

Senior Health Information Network provides a Holistic Model. Our clients are able to live safely in the comfort of their homes – even with complex medical situations – we evaluate every aspect of our clients' health — medical, functional, psychosocial, emotional and spiritually then implement care consistently and professionally. Our clients remain at home – and out of the hospital and emergency room – because we monitor relentlessly, provide consultation with their doctors, share information with the appropriate providers, and constantly tailor care to meet their changing needs and preferences for the client and caregiver. Both are important to us and we look to meet the needs of each one. We keep our clients at home and when needed if necessary we provide 24-hour medical homes for seniors at their request.

"We used We Are Family Home Care for my mom in the past. Their representative came out and we listened to her presentation about the agency; we liked her personality. So that's why we hired them. They didn't have the right caregiver for my mother. We got the schedule that we requested and we had someone available for the schedule, but as far as the replacement for the caregiver that wasn't right for my mom, they didn't have anybody available. So we had to go with another agency. They provide homecare and light housekeeping, although the person that we got didn't do any light housekeeping."

"The hospice nurse recommended Need a Helping Hand. They provided assistance with feeding, bathing, and changing; just the normal things. They would cook if you need them to cook. They were very professional and very friendly. Their scheduling was excellent because I brought Mom home from the hospital on Friday, and they had somebody there that evening for me. I was very happy with them."

"We have Care with Love LLC - Highland, IN for my mother-in-law. They help with grooming and getting her ready in the morning, and if we need them to do her hair, they do hair. They also do some toileting, like helping her in the restroom. They help with meals if needed. Like they give her food, snacks, and things like that. And they do plenty of exercises as well. They also work with her cognitive issues. They use memory cards, puzzles, and things like that."
