"I would love to share my love and appreciation for everything that Diana Of Visiting Angels Northeast San Antonio did for me this past Friday. I am a 65 year old Veteran. Diana comes to help with bathing, dressing and morning nourishment. I don’t think anything could have prepared Diana for how she found me when arrived that Friday morning @ 8 AM. My chest had began hurting, my heart beating terribly fast and difficulty breathing when I woke up at 6. I grabbed my blood pressure monitor, sat down, tried to calm and relax myself. Began taking my BP. Through the roof! I’m googling trying to find out what it means. Take pictures of each reading and they show crazy readings. Diana arrives and I’m in deep distress, I can tell by the look her face she knows something’s wrong. Seeing her arrive brought me sense of safety I’d been waiting 2 hours for. Crying I told her and showed her the readings and Diana quickly worked to calm me and worked with me through the a terrible experience 2 hours longer than was required to stay with because of her concern. For 4 hours my Angel worried if it was coming down, reminding to move my legs, drink water, sitting beside holding my hand keeping me calm. Because of just all the little things she taught that helped my blood vessels and arteries about proper blood flow by the end of day I was starting to feel better. "We have Cornerstone Caregiving San Antonio, TX for my mother-in-law. We liked Mariah, the person who came in and talked to us. We asked her all questions that we felt were pertinent and we had one caregiver come in, her name was Laura. She was fabulous. I liked her. She got along well with my mother-in-law. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, we had Laura come in for four hours a day. I work out of the home while my husband works at home except for Wednesdays. So on Wednesday, it was a long day, and so the long day was from 7 to 5. When we went through that timeframe, we had a particular person that came in. She was told that my mother-in-law was bedridden, which she wasn't, and then she didn't know how to transfer her, and my mother-in-law was giving her ideas on how to do it. When my husband got that feedback, we talked to her and we asked what knowledge she had prior to coming here, and she said that she just looked up online on how to transfer somebody. It was also our bad because we made an assumption that whoever was coming would have had more training. So, I reached out to the facility and asked them the specific question as far as what type of training people had. We never got a response. My mother-in-law ended up falling and when she fell, she had to have a partial hip replacement. Today, she's just getting out of the hospital. We had Cornerstone Caregiving San Antonio, TX for probably about a couple of weeks. Laura was fabulous. The only thing why we tried to go with somebody else was Laura is pregnant. So, we know that we're going to eventually lose her and because of the transition of my mother-in-law, we now need more help than before, so we decided to go ahead and change, but we had a definite good time. It was working well. People were on time. My mother-in-law enjoyed Laura. She was great. It was just that Wednesday person and then because we didn't have a response from them as far as what can we do for that Wednesday person and what type of training people have. The billing was fine when it came in. We gave them access to our bank account to bill, because if you utilize the credit card for them, then you get a 3% charge. So, we opted in just to utilize our bank account and we got a statement and that was fine. It came out just like what they said. So, there was no issue there."

"We used them for my mom from April until the first week of November. My mother has early onset dementia. AA Care supplied two caregivers. We had someone there 6 days a week. One was there 4 days a week and one was there for 2 days a week. Both ladies did a very good job with my mom. They were very pleasant. They took good care of her. The only thing was we had trouble with the billing but that was taken care of. Other than that, the care they provided for my mother was excellent. "

"Helping Hands Of San Antonio Home Care is very good about helping me, and I'm happy. The help me with personal care, food, water, cleaning my environment and things like that, and grocery shopping. They've been with me for a while. I had a problem in the beginning with them, but it turned out to have something to do with the hours I was given by APS. They came on-board through APS, because I didn't have the funds to pay for private care. At the beginning, I needed personal care on the weekends, but they couldn't do weekends because APS didn't pay for weekends. When we got past that, I was able to get more hours applied and got a Medicare plan that gave me 25 hours a week. Anyway, it's a good thing and it all worked out for me in the end."
