"I am a client of Home Instead. We have only had it for about a month now, but I can tell you that it is pretty good. The individual that comes to see my mom is very helpful. My mother has really grown attached to her. At first, we thought my mother wouldn't want anyone coming here. So far, we haven't had a problem with the lady bathing my mother, helping her get around, and doing some stuff for my dad. I would give her a very high rating at this point. So far, we haven't had any issues with it. We are only doing 4 hours a day for three days a week. This particular facility said they had people who understood dementia and how to care for dementia patients. The individuals that they're sending out are older, so I know they have that experience that we were looking for. They do the bathing, and sometimes they help feed her. She is patient and understanding. Our primary concern was that my mother would not be receptive, but she enjoys this lady's company.
