"We have been using the services of Home Instead for several years now. We have an individual that is total care and requires assistance for all aspects of daily living. We transferred care to Home Instead after having many bad experiences with another agency. This one has been a very positive experience. The caregivers are well trained, and if there is anything that requires additional training, the agency is agreeable to put in the extra effort so that both caregiver and client are comfortable. Caregivers have been very conscientious and arrive on time. We have had some caregivers that have been here long term and the agency does their best to make a good "fit". They deal with any issues we should have promptly and do their very best to make sure we don't go without care, should one of the caregivers need time off. When it becomes necessary to have strangers come into your home, and you have someone that requires total care, life on a good day can be difficult. I do believe that the agency does a thorough screening when they hire their employees.
