"I just wanted to send along a note to say how much we appreciate Brian’s care of my Dad. This morning, I conferenced my Dad into a call with one of his investment groups because I was trying to get a tax statement for him. Brian heard my Dad answer the phone and give out information like his DOB and SSN and immediately intervened to find out who was calling. I explained that it was me and apologized for not alerting him. But I was so impressed and appreciative that he was paying attention and looking out for my Dad. We really feel very fortunate to have such great people taking care of him."

"We have been using the services of Home Instead for several years now. We have an individual that is total care and requires assistance for all aspects of daily living. We transferred care to Home Instead after having many bad experiences with another agency. This one has been a very positive experience. The caregivers are well trained, and if there is anything that requires additional training, the agency is agreeable to put in the extra effort so that both caregiver and client are comfortable. Caregivers have been very conscientious and arrive on time. We have had some caregivers that have been here long term and the agency does their best to make a good "fit". They deal with any issues we should have promptly and do their very best to make sure we don't go without care, should one of the caregivers need time off. When it becomes necessary to have strangers come into your home, and you have someone that requires total care, life on a good day can be difficult. I do believe that the agency does a thorough screening when they hire their employees. I am comfortable leaving my home when they are here, and feel a level of trust in their employees that was not something that we had experienced prior to this. I would highly recommend them. "

"We have been subscribing to the service from Right at Home for the past six months or so. We're very pleased. My husband is receiving the care. Our provider gives him shower. That's the main thing that I ask him. I had him vacuum the basement floor and put things on shelves, and those are too difficult for me to do. Our caregiver comes twice a week, Tuesday and Friday. The caregiver is very agreeable, compassionate, capable, on time, and kind. It's excellent service."

"My parents are using Home Instead Senior Care-Northbrook. We are able to get a caregiver from them for just a week who does light cooking, light housekeeping, and takes care of my parents. They come on time. If somebody cancels, the agency works hard to match the right caregiver to my parents, and they do a good job. They are very caring and find people who really care about my parents. They are serious and treat my parents very well. "

"I only needed them for a few months and they did an excellent job. I would call them whenever I needed them to send someone to hangout with mom. She had home aides, therapists and nurses from Home Helpers. They have been a great help. She liked her aides, Susie and Eddie, because they were both older and were comfortable to be with. Susie would bring her special cookies and stuff she bakes. They accommodate her and she really enjoyed their company. She also had a younger aide, Jaime, who was wonderful but mostly they didn't click together. Mom was not feeling good because of medical issues but Jaime would make sure mom had her showers. She would call me at work and keep me informed with everything that happened. Everybody that comes here from Home Helpers always does an excellent job. They were really good to my mother. "

"I heard Home Helpers had a good reputation, so I told my mother about them and she hired them. Her friend had Alzheimer's and needed 24/7 care. They provided good people and good health care. They were living in the house with my mom's friend. They would do the cleaning, cooking and some light house keeping. Looking after him and make sure he got his medication. He couldn't be left alone so they also watch him over at night. It's practically round the clock care. We always felt very comfortable with them being there. We were very happy with their service. They were great. "
