My in-laws are receiving care from Addus HealthCare in Belleville since about three weeks now. They're excellent. They don't distribute drugs but they're there to help them with their and they are excellent. They also bring them to doctors' appointments. They do light housekeeping, general hygiene, and they also give them showers and baths. They do not cook but they get everything out and they clean up after meals. They take the trash out and they also take them to doctors' appointments, and they'll go to the grocery store. I am not with them every day, but my mother-in-law says she could not make it without them. My mother-in-law has skin cancer and yesterday she had an appointment with the doctor, and she has to disrobe in the doctor's office. The lady from Addus took her to the doctor's office and went in with her and helped her undress and got dressed again so they could do a scan on her. My mother-in-law loves her. She and my father-in-law each qualified for three hours a day each so they get 6 hours of in-home help a day. Addus accepts state funding. They're on time and they do their jobs.

Addus Healthcare Services first did an evaluation. Then they provided a caregiver to do companion care. The first week didn't work out, but the cost is more than necessary for companionship. I used them for a couple of months. The second caregiver was just wonderful.
