This was our first experience with home care. Happy to say it was wonderful. On very short notice, you were able to handle our care. My husband was my main concern. Everyday coming close to my surgery, he had more issues and nightmares. To calm him I said I’d be gone for three days but my family voted that out. So you came to the rescue. I could never believed that Suzie could fill my shoe but she did. She took and gave excellent care to a very spoiled 93 year old. I witnessed that when I came home. He looked so much better. The dark circles under his eyes were gone, he looked so well and no more nightmares. She also took care of me-doing work or staying to help me during my flu period. We all hated to see her leave. George stood by our front window and cried. We hope that her plans for PA work out. She will be excellent. She was an answers to our prayers. Thank You

Wonderful agency.. I have to say the care provided to our family has been kind, caring, and professional. Mom loves her caretaker and we rest easy knowing she is in her hands. She treats mom with the respect and kindness we can only wish for. An ill family member is very difficult so the kindness and support we are given does not go unnoticed. After open heart surgery at N/W hospital in Chicago, both my wife & I engaged home care services for me with Health Advocates this winter. When I first came into contact with Health Advocates, I was so impressed with Pauline. My Mom had a negative experience with a previous caregiver and was scared to try again. Pauline reassured her that she had a wonderful person to send that evening and she promised she would love her. Nancy came to my house that same night to watch my Mom and won us over immediately! She treated my Mom as though she was her own family right from the start. Our family loves the care that Nancy gives and we are so happy to have her as our caregiver. She is a perfect match! My Mom’s face lights up when she comes. Nancy is a wonderful, caring person who treats my Mom with respect and compassion. When my Mom experienced a medical crisis, Nancy was quick to obtain an ambulance and was with her for the ride to the hospital and so reassuring that everything would be ok. My brother and I met her there and we consider her part of our team! Our family team! She gives my brother and I a great sense of relief to know our Mom is being well taken care of. Even though she has only been with us since October, we feel she is part of our family. That doesn’t happen often. She helps wherever she can and always with a great attitude! We love having her as part of our family team! Health Advocates is blessed that she is part of their team! Nancy, thank you so much for making life so much easier for our family.

My family and I want to thank you for the excellent service Health Advocates Home Care provided my father in his time of need. Within a few short weeks, he went from a fully functioning self sufficient person to a person needing help performing even the simplest of tasks. Working full time jobs, we knew we needed help taking care of him. Your company was recommended by a friend. Communication with you and your staff was very easy. Your caregivers were very professional and compassionate, and they really "clicked" with my father. I appreciate that in addition to assisting him with meals, getting dressed, and using the facilities -- to name a few. Your caregivers also made sure the laundry was done and his home was clean. Most of all, I'm thankful that he had someone to talk to and just be there when we couldn't. I miss my father so much. Your care of him was very much appreciated. You’re a special group with a wonderful gift of helping others.

Thank you so much for your care and concern for our mother, Henrietta. We were very pleased with the daily help provided by Danielle and were glad to hear how well she got along with mom. Even though we only worked with you for a couple of weeks, it was definitely quality care. We were especially grateful when you and Danielle stepped up and helped mom in her time of need on a Sunday night and subsequent day resulting in a trip to the hospital by ambulance -- all monitored and arranged by you. There is no way that this situation could have been dealt with so smoothly and efficiently without Health Advocates. The next day you stopped by the hospital and helped us wade through some of the medical jargon that can be confusing in any hospital situation. Our mother has now been relocated to a rehab facility and as she improves will eventually be moved to an assisted living facility. Thank you once again for your help, compassion, and professionalism. We would certainly recommend Health Advocates to others in the future.

I don’t know what we would have done if it wasn’t for your wonderful homecare service! Nurse Maureen talked to me before my husband was released after a month in Christ Hospital and helped me with things I would need for my husband along with comforting feelings. I was not alone in trying to care for my husband. She came to our home like a friend and spoke to my husband and said she would get someone for us. Boy, did she! We call him M.J. He is wonderful! We have adopted him like our son. Thank you My husband looks forward to his workout with M.J. He is very professional and very caring.

Tammy is excellent, fast learner, compassion, very caring, and always responsible with the delicate nature of the job. She will make an outstanding nurse. She is always prompt and ready to go. I sometimes am not ready when she arrives. She pitches right in knowing what to do with the machine. We are extremely satisfied with her work ethic!
