The caregivers from ResCare HomeCare would accompany me to doctors' appointments. They are friendly. They always come promptly like they're supposed to, but they need to hire smarter people. I have my things all arranged so it is convenient for me to access it, but a caregiver comes in and re-arranges it to suit herself.

When we first brought my parents home, we used a company called Alpha-Care, then ResCare brought Alpha-Care. When it was Alpha-Care, it was really good, but when ResCare bought it, it went downhill. They were making less than $10 an hour. We had a lot of trouble with people not showing up, and they weren’t providing adequate meals to them. It was almost like they had to have somebody watching them for them to do things. There was a lot of turnover and people who were providing substandard care. I would not recommend them.
