They could have to get someone to be with me consistently, so I can get to know them, and they get to know me as well as be on time. They don't be hanging with nobody. This morning and Monday last week, I have been needing the caregiver to come. Neither one made it. I called to come in 1 hour early, they didn't, and I needed to have them to take me to the doctors. I suffer from depression and PTSD, as well as blind. I need someone to guide me to the doctor's office and so forth.

Some of the caregivers are bad. I like my current caregiver. You do not have to wait for anything while she is here. It depends on the caregiver you get. I have got the best. I would not recommend some of those caregivers.

It's allowed him to stay very independent, he can come and go, and they drive for him. They have flexibility, he has some private pay, and we have right at home on the weekends. They work with us to get the shift filled, and we like all the people.

She really does not see my husband that much because he is in a nursing home; his needs are pretty much taken care of. I use her a lot as a driver, to run my errands. Anything that I need to do and needs driving, I need her help for. She helps me a lot this way. I do not have a lot of housekeeping because I have only two rooms. They seem to have trouble getting people to work. I called, and they say, "Well, so-and-so is sick today. We cannot come. We do not have anybody else." So they just seem to need more help.

The caregiver we had couldn't even boil eggs, even though she claimed she could cook. She used our washer and dryer when we didn't ask her to either, and claimed the dishwasher was full when it only held 3 items in it. They need to improve their management and ability to hire good caregivers for me to recommend them more.

My husband sits in his recliner most of the time. We are up and have breakfast before the caregivers get here. They are just here in case he needs anything. I had been approved for help for a month and they didn't have any employees to send.

They are now only giving us services on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are not able to give me someone on Saturdays. No one wants to work on Saturday.

Having them here is fine, it is the not coming that is the problem. Then, when they do come in, sometimes it is weeks between absences. They do not have enough girls to staff me properly.

My aging dad was in need of help doing things around the house and just someone to sit with him to keep him company since I live out of state. They sent him the most caring person that I think I have ever met. She makes my dad laugh and tells him jokes. He loves the days that she is scheduled to come see him. My dad is happy again and has a much better quality of life due to Right at Home! I would recommend them to anyone.
