I have my wife in Legacy House. I’m happy with what they’re doing right now. They handled it all from the hospital. They got her out of pain -- which was the main concern. The staff and the caregivers have been excellent. Her room is beautiful. It’s about 30 or 40 miles from where I live. I would definitely recommend it.

I chose Legacy House for my mother. The service was excellent. They were warm, and caring. They took care of my mother's needs. They made her as comfortable as they possibly could. They kept her clean. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The place was comfortable for family members to come and visit. It was quiet. It was probably one of the better hospices. They have counseling after my mother passed. They followed up with us afterward to see if everything was OK, and if there was anything they can do or talk with us. This was after she had passed and that was very nice. Legacy House was very good. It was a very beautiful place and very well kept. It was very warm and comfortable for family members. I was very happy with it and I'm sure anyone would be very happy with Legacy House.

Without going into personal detail, I spent time here with a close family member. I found everyone to be warm, caring and extremely helpful. The environment was clean and safe. My family was treated with respect and love

My wife was visiting her dad with our children and Dr. Quigbley was very nasty and hurtful because my wife had our 2 year old with her. She scolded her and told her that our 2 year old cannot be making all this noise in the hallways, that people come there to die and need peace, and that it is unacceptable so on and so forth. Last time I checked, a 2 year has every right to be there and see his granddad. She made my wife very upset and made her feel like she wasn't allowed to have kids there. My wife did speak to the office supervisor and the supervisor said she would speak to Dr. Quigbley, but now my wife is afraid to even bring our kids into the facility because of the way our son was treated. I personally think she doesn't have any kids and doesn't like them, because no one else has said that the kids are a problem. I wish we never moved him from Tuscany to the Legacy house.

My sister was a patient at Legacy House a couple of years ago. I cannot say enough about the beautiful care that was given to her by the doctors, nurses and chaplain. It is hard time for family members to go thru and they are very caring both with the patients and the family. The facility is beautifully kept and inviting for the patients and their families. They encourage the family to stay with their love ones and be with them to the end, who could ask for more.

I would not choose this place again. The administration is all about what is easiest and best for them not their patients.
